In Vienna, there are more than 27 palaces and more that 150 palais. On every corner, you can discover valuable cultural treasures, dream about the good old imperial era in a coffee house and enjoying sophisticated shopping at one of the former purveyors to the imperial and royal court.

Vienna is a magic city for those who have a romantic disposition but also for those who are interested in history. It is definitely worthy it to wonder around the streets of Vienna, do some window shopping, drink some warm wine from the street, visit Schönbrunn Palace or Hofburg the Imperial Palace, attend an opera or a ballet performance and admire the magnificent architecture of the entire city. You will definitely be impressed and inspired by the steeped in romance and history atmosphere of the city.

One of the most splendid baroque palaces in the world awaits you in Vienna: Schonbrunn Palace. 1441 rooms were available to the imperial family here – you can still admire most of them today. In the Palace Gardens, architectural treasures await you, such as the Palm House and the Zoo, which was named the best zoo in Europe in 2009.

For more than 600 years, the residence of the Emperors was in Vienna’s Imperia Palace. Today, the magnificent building in the middle of the old city houses important representation rooms, as well as important museums. Vienna would not be Vienna without the horse-drawn carriages right in front of the Austrian President’s office doors – and a state-of-the-art institution with valuable collections and one of the most beautiful baroque rooms in the world being located in the National Library. In the Burgkapelle Chapel, the Vienna Boy’s Choir sings on Sundays while the Lipzzaners show off their skill in the Spanish Riding School. The Sisi Museum provides you with an insight into the private life of the legendary wife of Emperor Franz Joseph. In the nearby Imperial Crypt, the Habsburgs found their final place to rest.

The wonderful boulevard, the Ringstrasse, provides just as impressive an example of Vienna’s imperial splendour as St. Stephen’s Cathedral. And a small hill, not far from the old city, is enthroned by the summer residence of Prince Eugene, the Belvedere Palace.
